Law & Order: Special Victims Unit(popularly known as SVU) is a branch of the parent Law & Order franchise. This was showcased for the first time on September 20, 1999. The Special Victims Unit concentrates on sexual offences. The show is based on real-life cases but the references are made using fake identities. Law & Order: Criminal Intent starting from October 4, 2007 is annother branch of the Law & Order franchise. In this division of Law and order, mainy murder cases, that too high profile murders, are concenrated on. The show is based in London withthe first half related to investigation and the last half related to proceedings.
