Angie Harmon

Role: (A.D.A. Abbie Carmichael (Seasons 9-11)

Angie Harmon was born the 10th august 1972 in Dallas Texas. Both of her parents were models, and Angie began modeling at an early age. When she was 15 years old, and in the 10th grade, Angie won the national cover contest for Seventeen magazine. After that, she returned to graduate from Highland Park High School. Upon graduation, Angie moved to New York, where she continued her successful career by apparing in editions of Elle, Cosmopolitan, French and Italian editions of Vogue, and Glamour. She has graced the catwalk for designers such as Calvin Klein, Georgio Armani, Ralph Lauren, and more.

Angie was on an airplane when she met David Hasselhoff, who offer her the female leading part in his show Baywatch Nights even though she had no acting experience. She had always believed that modeling would be her ticket to acting, so she accepted .Today she considers that her experience on Baywatch Nights amounted to 44 lessons on "hitting her mark." Angie learned those lessons well, and after her stint on Baywatch Nights she bagged her first movie role as Pamela Gregory in tje John Duigan-directed Lawn Dogs.

In the same year, she portrayed Amanda Reardon, a rookie in a top crime solving unit on C-16 : FBI. Unfortunately, the show was cancelled just before Christmas, and Angie beat a temporary retreat from Los Angeles.

After returning to LA, Angie auditioned for the part of Abbie Carmichael on the renowned show Law & Order. She won the role of the ambitious, headstrong A.D.A., and scored a five year contract. Angie Harmon became engaged to Jason Sehorn on March 13, 2000, and since her marriage has given birth to two children. Angie Harmon has the dream of one day etablishing a children's ranch in Texas for underprivileged city youth.
