Michael Imperioli got his start in the New York theater scene. He appeared in the films 'Goodfellas,' 'Jungle Fever,' 'Malcolm X,' 'Clockers,' 'Girl 6,' and 'Summer of Sam,' ans well as the action films 'Bad Boys' and 'Last Man Standing.' He did television work, appearing on episodes of 'NYPD Blue' and 'Law and Order.'

He achieved widespread acclaim when he was cast as lighting rod Christopher Moltisante on the HBO drama, 'The Sopranos.'
